Glutathione is a naturally occurring antioxidant in the human body. It is produced in nerve cells located in the central nervous system and liver cells. Glutathione is composed of three main amino acids: Glycine, L-cysteine, and L-glutamate. Glutathione plays a role in the metabolism of toxic substances and medications, eliminating free radicals in the body, and strengthening the immune system.
